There was no living memory of when the road was last resurfaced thus it was a given it needed a repair. After years of pothole filling and broken suspensions Ellesmere was delighted to finally welcome a shiny new road surface . Thankfully all the notifications on the DCC portal and advocacy on our behalf by local Councillor Colm O Rourke resulted in a great job by Kilsaran Contractors on behalf of DCC. The work was carried out in 4 days with minimal disruption .This should keep our pedestrians, wheelchair used cars , skateboards , bicycles and skates running smoothly for years to come.
