Completion of Back Lane Clean Up on Ellesmere Avenue

Date: Saturday 17th November 2012 Time: 11am to 2pm (meet at junction of Doon & Everton Avenues) This is a project started earlier this year and a continuation of the lower lane clean up of last year. Some 100 bags of waste, 2 radiators , 6 bicycles,2 statues, a partridge in a pear tree and 3 skips later we are almost nearing completion . With your help, by the end of the day, it is hoped there will be a clear line of sight from the top to the bottom of the lane . This has not been the case in over 20 years. That will be some achievement. Plenty of bags, gloves and some clean up tools will be provided. Bring extra tools if you can. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
