We have had a number of requests in recent months to plan a clean up of the lanes at the back of Ellesmere and the Adjoining Avenues.
People have expressed concern about a build up of rubbish and other debris which is both unsightly and makes it difficult for people to use the lanes for access, deliveries and when putting out bins for collection.
We are therefore asking for volunteers to assist with a clean up of the lanes on Saturday next 6th Aug from 11am. Gloves and bags will be provided and we will co-ordinate a central collection point for all of the rubbish.
From now on a concerted effort will be made to keep the lanes free of rubbish and other household debris and we are asking for the co-operation of all residents on this matter.
Gloves and bags will be distributed at the gate beside number 1 Ellesmere Avenue on Sat 6th Aug at 11am.
